Tell Me Something

November 1, 2012 by jbrettjacobsen

Today, I launched “Tell Me Something” on the Founders Campus (Preschool-6). Don’t worry Glenn Campus (7-12) students, I will be giving you the opportunity to tell me something in the near future.  Today, common topics discussed were Halloween, presidential election, Day of the Dead, storytelling, football, doughnuts, drawing, and much more.

This is more than a gesture or a moment.  As a leader, being accessible, approachable, and engaging with students is important.  Tell Me Something allows me to interact with our students on a different level (lower stakes) so they feel more comfortable when the stakes are higher.

It’s not debatable…I have the best job ever.
