Recently, I met with someone who is an expert in supply chains and logistics.  She indicated that they measure confidence when working with college students.  For some reason, this had a strong impact upon me.  We often measure content, aptitude, multiple intelligences, learing styles and these days we seek to measure 21st century skills.  However, how often do you hear the importance of measuring confidence?  As educators, maybe this should be the first thing we measure. “You are the only person on earth who can use your ability (Ziglar).”
