During July and August, my posts will include quotes, thoughts, and reflections from some of the books on my summer reading list:

  • Linchpin by Seth Godin
  • A Million Miles in a Thousand Years by Donald Miller
  • Making Ideas Happen by Scott Belsky
  • Wrapped in Rain by Charles Martin
  • Outliers by Malcom Gladwell
  • Where Peachtree Meets Sweet Auburn by Gary Pomerantz

Another great read I would be happy to share with you (that is, if you haven’t already read it!) is “The Global Achievement Gap” by Tony Wagner. In my opinion, the author absolutely nails down all the important issues in the public (and to some degree the private) education system in America and offers practical solutions. The subtitle summarizes the content: “Why Even Our Best Schools Don’t Teach The New Survival Skills Our Children Need – And What We can Do About It.”

Hope you are having a great summer,
