I had the highest privilege of giving a tribute to the Class of 2010 at Mount Vernon Presbyterian School.  Participating in 17 state playoff appearances in 8 different sports; receiving acceptance to 85 different universities across the country including Carnegie Mellon, Auburn, Penn State, University of South Carolina, Georgia Tech, Georgia, and many more; earning over $1 million in scholarship offers; and completing over 8,000 hours of community service reflect the accomplishments and impact of the Class of 2010.  They will be able to use these experiences at Mount Vernon as a launching point for the rest of their lives.  It is not about being college prep ready, but it is about being life ready.
