Established vs. Young

Every institution has the street called 21st Century Change Street running passed it.  However, one intersection is extremely crowded and difficult to move while at the other intersection, one is more free to accelerate and innovate as fast as it wants.  According to Ian Symmonds, “Independent education is in the midst of a pivot point.  The industry is going to need to respond in meaningful ways in order to survive and thrive in the future.  Our guess is that those that thrive in the future will respond by creating true transformation in their organizations, seizing strategic opportunity in the face of challenge.  Some of the greatest innovations in our world have been the direct result of scarcity of resources and challenging environments.  So, one thing is for sure — there will be no absence of excitement in our future.”  I am thankful and excited to be at the intersection of Young Street and 21st Century Change Street.
